Obituary for Fay A. Fogg

Millinocket – Fay A. Fogg, 84, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at his home. He was born July 3, 1938 in Lincoln, the son of John and Ellen (Mushero) Fogg. He retired from the Great Northern Paper Company after 35 years, and he worked at the McDonald’s in Millinocket for 4 years. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea in the 76th Combat Engineers from 1960-63, and then served in the National Guard for 5 years with the 262nd Combat Engineers. Fay was a communicant of Christ the Divine Mercy Paris, St. Martin of Tours in Millinocket, and was a member of Donald V. Henry Post #80 of the American Legion and the Millinocket Elks Lodge #1521. He is a past president of the Pink Panthers Color Guard and a member of the Millinocket AARP. Fay is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rose A. “Dolly” (Leet) Fogg; three daughters and two sons, Jan Mckenzie, Kim Fogg, Heidi Farquhar, Peter Fogg, and Paul Fogg; nine grandchildren, who he truly loved, Craig, Jayme, Mark, Jenny, Braiana, Kelsey, Chad, Nichol and Alex; four great grandchildren; a brother, David Fogg; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Fay was predeceased by a daughter, Robin Fogg Jandreau, siblings Marian, Wayne, Leo, and Elwood, and his god parents Paul Leet and Dawn Guy. Graveside services with military honors will be held at the Millinocket Cemetery in the spring.
