Obituary for Evelyn J. "Auntie Evie" Levesque (Michaud)

East Millinocket – Evelyn J. Levesque, 90, wife of the late Robert Levesque, died March 5, 2020 at Millinocket Regional Hospital. She was born November 16, 1929 in East Millinocket, the daughter of Frank and Lottie (Michaud) Michaud.

Evelyn grew up in East Millinocket and was a graduate of Schenck High School, class of 1947. She worked for over a combination of fifty years as a Pharmacy Technician at Bartlett’s Pharmacy and Davis Pharmacy. Evelyn was a communicant of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Catholic Church in East Millinocket.

Auntie Eve was a no nonsense kind of woman who loved life and encouraged those around her to live life to the fullest. Auntie was independent and young at heart sharing her contagious laughter to lift those around her. She spent her time making puzzles, cross stitching, needle point, crocheting, and doting on her beloved animals. She loved music and looked forward to the yearly Summer Fest in East Millinocket. Many would comment, “How is she able to hold that huge heart in that small body!” She will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Evelyn is survived by two brother-in-laws, David Levesque of Millinocket and wife Jeanie, William Levesque of Fairhope, Alabama; nieces and nephews, Vicki Small, Billy White, Frank and wife Jill Michaud, Jim and wife Beth Michaud, Michael Michaud, Jerry Michaud and companion Nancy Davis, Terry and wife Jodi Michaud, Robbie and wife Belinda Michaud, and Lynne Michaud; and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She will also be missed by two special friends, Diane Gagnon, Monique Landry and her cat “Bruno”.
