Obituary for Ernest C. Bragg
Springfield – Ernest C. Bragg, 76, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 4, 2020 at his home in Springfield. He was born May 24, 1944 in Island Falls, the son of Basil and Ethel (Parter) Bragg.
Ernest was a woodsman, and enjoyed working his farm, haying fields, raising cattle, pigs, and chickens. He was a hard working man, and was very dedicated to his son, Steven.
In addition to his son, Steven Bragg of Springfield, Ernest is survived by his sister, Donna Garnett and her companion Daryl of North Carolina; and a loyal friend, Preston Chubbuck of Burlington. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, David Bragg, and his wife, Mary J. Bragg.
Graveside services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, September 15 at the Mill Stream Cemetery, Springfield. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
