Eric Edward Duplisea, 61, of Lincoln, Maine and Fairbanks, Alaska passed away September 16, 2023, at the Veterans Pioneer Home in Palmer, Alaska after an extended illness.
Eric was born in Montpelier, Vermont on December 28, 1961.
He grew up in Lincoln Maine and graduated from Mattanawcook Academy.
Eric was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force having served as a Munitions Tech Specialist for a squadron of A-10 Warthogs based out of Barksdale Air Force in Louisiana.
Eric enjoyed traveling with his parents and aunts and uncles and did so extensively for many years. His very favorite place in the world was Myrtle Beach, S.C. where he would walk the beach for miles searching for sharks teeth. When not traveling he really enjoyed watching television comedy channels, game shows and movies. Eric loved to laugh and had a keen and quick-witted sense of humor. He is much loved and greatly missed.
Eric was predeceased by his father Gerald L Duplisea, Sr and his mother Elsie F (Carr) Duplisea. He is survived by his two older brothers, Gerald L Duplisea, Jr and wife Roxane of Fairbanks, Alaska and Patrick S Duplisea and wife Mary of Pendleton, Indiana, as well as seven nieces and nephews.
