Obituary for Emery O. Davis
Chester - Emery Davis, 67, passed away Sunday September 15, 2019, at Orono Commons. He was born January 1, 1952 in Lincoln, the son of Therlie and Faye (Giovanucci) Davis.
Emery grew up in Chester and graduated Mattanawcook Academy, class of 1971. He then went to work for G.E. Goding as a truck driver. When Emery was younger he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his fiance Janet Nickerson of Chester; three sisters, Lillian Dundas and her husband Bob of Limerick, Veronica Keene and her husband Gene of Naples, Florida, and Aseanith Davis of Goose Creek, South Carolina; five brothers, Aaron Davis and his wife Donna, Kenneth Davis and his wife Kathy, all of Lincoln, Loren Davis and his significant other Pam of Harpswell, Howard Davis and his wife Lisa of Lincoln, and Andy Davis and his wife Lynda of Washington State, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a significant other Debbie Delaite.
Gsraveside services will be held 1 P.M. Friday, September 20 at South Chester Cemetery with Pastor Randall Shirland officiating. Gifts may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
