Obituary for Elwin P. Malone
Millinocket – Elwin P. Malone, 84, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
He was born June 10, 1938 in Haynesville, the son of Phyllis Malone Gould and grandson of Clayton and Pearl (Tuck) Malone. Elwin was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1956. He married Donna Campbell on June 20, 1959, marking 63 years together. Elwin worked for Great Northern Paper Company for 35 years, also for Day & Curry and William Gardner and Sons. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Millinocket.
In addition to his wife, Donna Malone, Elwin is survived by three children, Scott Malone and his wife Debbie, Lori Farmer and her husband Bob, and James Malone and his wife Lauri; seven grandchildren, Matt and his wife Trish, Ash and her wife Amber, Brian, Aaron and his partner Nikole, Morganne and her husband Matt, Alysse, Kassie, and John; nine great grandchildren, Artemis, Ryder, Mason, Elsie, Evelyn, Theodora, Vanessa, Halston, and Koda; two siblings, Barbara Aldrich and Cedric Malone; a brother in law Basil Campbell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Elwin will also be missed by a special friend, Bert Moody.
A celebration of life service will be held in the springtime, details to be announced, Gifts in memory of Elwin may be sent to the Katahdin Area Support Group, P.O.
