Obituary for Elodie C. Osborne
Millinocket – Elodie C. Osborne, 84, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at a Millinocket hospital with loved ones by her side. She was born February 8, 1938, in Millinocket, the daughter Harriet (Jacobs) Tilley.
Elodie grew up in Millinocket and was a graduate of St. Martin of Tours High School, class of 1956. She loved to paint, and playing the piano was a favorite pastime over the years. Elodie worked as a hairdresser with George Nelson, and also out of her home. For many years she was a seamstress for Epstein’s in Millinocket. Elodie’s pride and joy, however, was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who will miss her greatly.
Elodie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles J. Osborne; five children, George Osborne and his partner Adrianna, Kevin Osborne and his wife Tracy, Mark Osborne and his wife Michele, Charles Osborne, Jr. and his wife Mary, and Harriet Charette and her husband Andre; twelve grandchildren; three step grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and ten step great grandchildren. Elodie was predeceased by her mother.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Katahdin Health Care and Millinocket Regional Hospital for the excellent care given to Elodie and the courtesies extended to the family.
