Obituary for Edwina B. Harriman (Blake)

Codyville Plantation - Edwina Harriman, 94, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2019 with her family by her side at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor, Maine. Edwina was born in West Princeton, ME, July 4, 1924 to Leon and Verna Blake.

On July 4, 1942, she married her high school sweetheart, Richard E. Harriman of Codyville Plt., together they raised five sons and one daughter. She was a member of the Hillside Free Baptist Church in Topsfield and a longtime member of the Princeton Grange #293

Edwina was predeceased by her parents, her twin brother Edmund Blake of Brewster, MA, sister Elizabeth Bailey of Princeton, her husband of 52 years, Richard Harriman, her son James Harriman and his wife Laura of Topsfield, her son Charles Harriman of Codyville Plt.,and her grandson Andrew Harriman of Princeton as well as many dear friends and family that have gone on before her.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving 4 children, Ronald Harriman of Topsfield, Paul Harriman and his wife Sharon of Topsfield, Rosalie Miles and her husband David of Norway, Philip Harriman and his wife Beth of Perry, her daughter-in-law Diana Harriman of Codyville, Plt., 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be on Monday, Feb. 18th from 2-4 and 5-7 at Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, with a service to be held in the spring. Spring interment will be at the Codyville Cemetery.
