Obituary for Doris R. Levesque
Millinocket – Doris R. Levesque, 89, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at a Howland health care facility. She was born February 24, 1932 in Stacyville, the daughter of Charlie and Hilda (McLean) Hutchins.
Doris loved following the events of her family and spending time with them. Favorite pastimes included playing Bingo, knitting, reading, and doing scratch tickets.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, John J. Levesque; seven children, Linda Hale, Barbara Brown and her husband Terry, Sherry DeWitt and her husband Ben, John Levesque and his wife Ruth, Allen Levesque and his wife Kim, Tammy Dewley and her husband Dirk, and Timmy Levesque; two sisters, Lillian Wark and Francis Bellfleur; twenty two grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Doris was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Roland Wilson, two sisters, Letha Bellfleur, and Edna Landry, and a grandson, BJ Hale.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 PM Sunday, March 7 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the springtime, with interment at the Millinocket Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Doris may be sent to the Katahdin Area Support Group, P.O.
