Indian Purchase Township - Donna Gould, 86, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2018. She was born in Corinna on May 17, 1932, the daughter of Chester and Beulah (Curtis) Sprague. She graduated from Corinna Union Academy as class Salutatorian and a few years later moved to East Millinocket, where she gave piano lessons and later owned and operated the South Twin Marina.

She married Wallace E. Gould in August of 1984 and they enjoyed many years of hunting and fishing for most of their 33 year marriage. They began with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Alaska for 4 months. She then followed her God-given gift of being able to play piano "by ear" and was a church organist in many churches in the surrounding areas as well as the piano player for the "Has Beens."

Wally predeceased her on November 23, 2017 as did her son, Gregory Wyman, on April 22, 2018. Donna is survived by sons Richard Wyman and wife Christine, Phillip Wyman and wife Vesta, all of East Millinocket, Jeffrey Wyman and wife Karen, of Norcross, and a daughter, Debra Jamo and her significant other, Dan Tourtelotte, of Parkman, her step-son Alton Gould, of Naples, and Greg's significant other, Tana Crate of Millinocket. She was predeceased by two step-daughters, Katie Gould and Alzire LaForrest.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Thomas Jamo, Nathaniel Jamo, Benjamin Jamo, Chris Wyman, Kasey Wyman, Justin Wyman, Jessica Sherwood, Lindsey Ropiak, David Wyman, Jonathan Wyman, Dale Laforrest, Richard Goodrich and their spouses / significant others, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her two sisters, Dorinne Eastman of Newport and Nola Sawtelle, formally of Corinna, and their families as well as her sister-in-law, Rosetta Anne Crandall and her husband, Wayne, and their family.

A celebration of her life will take place in the spring with the date to be determined at a later time. In remembrance, please donate to the Maine Chapter-Alzheimers Association at https://www.alz.org in her honor. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home.
