Obituary for Denise M. "Dee Dee" Michaud
East Millinocket – Denise M. “Dee Dee” Michaud, 48, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at a Millinocket hospital after a very brief illness. She was born August 1, 1971 in Bangor, the daughter of Maynard and Brenda (Lyons) Michaud.
Dee Dee grew up in East Millinocket, and was a graduate of Schenck High School, class of 1991. She loved to knit and could often be found volunteering at the East Branch Sno Rovers Snowmobile Club. She also enjoyed playing cards and working on puzzles. Dee Dee was special to everybody who knew her. She was a kind hearted soul who loved everybody. She will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Survivors include her father, Maynard Michaud; her son, Dakota; siblings Andrea Murray and Joe Croteau, Stanley Michaud and Amy Kimball, Tammy Michaud, Trina Newbury and her husband Danny, Haley Veins and her husband Nate, Connor Michaud, Daniel Johnson, and Kiana Allen; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, too numerous to mention. Dee Dee will also be missed by a sister in spirit, if not by blood, Lila Larrivee. She was predeceased by her mother, Brenda Michaud, just a month ago.
The family is planning a celebration of life for Dee Dee and Brenda at a date to be announced later in the summer. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home. Messages of condolence may be expressed at www.lamsonfh.com.
