Obituary for Deborah C Silvay

Lincoln - Deborah C. Silvay, 66, passed away on February 4, 2020 at Northern Light EMMC after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hartford, CT, on May 19, 1953, the daughter of Claude Corbin and Elsie (Robblets) Bennett. She married in 1973 and moved to Lincoln in 1990 where she spent the remainder of her life. There she raised her two children, doted on her grandchildren, and was loved by many friends along the way.

She was an avid reader, a plant whisperer, a fantastic baker, and a devoted Red Sox fan.

Deb was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her son, Steven Silvay, of Lincoln, ME; her daughter, Michelle (Silvay) Lee, son-in-law Christopher Lee, and grandchildren Noah, Lydia, and Jonah Lee all of Braintree, MA; her five brothers and sisters, Donald Corbin, Pamela Yeltema, Susanne Corbin, Steven Corbin, and Michael Corbin; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Donations may be made in Deb’s name to the Penobscot Valley Humane Society where she adopted her beloved cat and companion Katie.
