Mattawamkeag - Bud passed away unexpectedly February 9th 2019 at a Lincoln hospital. He was born December 30th 1950 son of Clarence Edward Staley and Mildred Dora Powers Staley. He was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and Gannon University in Erie PA with a Masters of Science degree. His job as a Physician Assistant brought him to Lincoln Maine in 1988 where he met and married his soul mate of 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife Lynn, sons; Mathew Staley and wife Melissa, Benjamin Staley Norman, Christopher Staley, Franklin Welch and wife Carrie, and Daniel Welch and wife Mylissa; Grandchildren; Jordan and Wolfgang Staley, Scarlett Staley, Ethan and Stella Staley, Hailey, Cooper and Linkin Staley, Nathan and Nicole Welch, Alexis, Sydney and Liam Welch, sisters; Donna Kiddle of Ashtabula, Ohio and Sharyn Staley of New Zealand; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with the family 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where a Celebration of Bud’s life will be held at 1 P.M.
