Lee – Bryant James Smith, 62, died Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He was born August 19, 1956 in Bangor, the son of Hersey and Virginia (Gould) Smith.

Bryant was a graduate of Lee Academy, class of 1975. He received an As. Degree in Electronics from EMVTI. He worked in Ralph Hook, Dale Grant, and Chip Stevens’ potato houses, and also worked 4 years at Data General in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, as well as for the Maine Department of Transportation. For the last 20 years, he worked for Maxwell Farms. Bryant enjoyed gardening and his dog, Patches.

He is survived by his sister, Bethany Smith; two brothers, Bert and Brent Smith, all of Lee; a brother Bruce Smith and his wife Nancy of Machiasport; nephews, Jason, Justin, Jared, Jonathan, and Dana Smith; and a niece, Julie Smith. In addition to his parents, Bryant was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Smith.

Graveside services will be held in the springtime at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lee. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln,
