Brookton – Blanche McKinnon, 83, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
Blanche was one of 9 children born to Delma and Myrtle Nason of Lambert Lake. Blanche was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed family get togethers, cooking for a crowd, shopping with her sisters, gardening, and going to church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald McKinnon, and a daughter, Katherine “Kate” McKinnon, and sisters Beatrice, Helen, Charlotte, Priscilla, and Wanita. Blanche is survived by her remaining siblings, Ernestine Grass, Jessie Grass, and Delma “Bud” Nason. She is also survived by her children, Donna and her husband Mike of New York, Bonnie, Charissa and her boyfriend Brian, and Donald and his wife Susan, all of Brookton; grandchildren, Kristi, Mandy, Andrew, Heather, Casey, Cory, Chrissy, Brittany, Kevin, and a very special grandson, Kaleb; great grandcyildren, Aiden, Julianna, McKenna, Cassi, Mickenzie, Autumn, Gabriel, Breanna, Taylor, Brandon, Gage, and Damion, all of whom she loved dearly; and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Brookton Pentecostal Church, 383 Houlton Road, Brookton, where funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, March 18 with the Rev. Michael Delo officiating. Interment will be in the springtime at the Lakeside Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Blanche may be sent to Donna Delo, 12 Old Rt. 9, Tomkins Cove, NY 10986.
