Obituary for Beatrice M. Preston
Reed Plantation – Beatrice May Preston, 74, wife of the late Donald Preston, died Thursday, November 12, 2020 in Wytopitlock. She was born December 23, 1945, the daughter of Samual and Rella (Saucier) Michaud.
Beatrice worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide for DHA for many years until she retired. She enjoyed going to Bingo and socializing with her friends.
She is survived by a son, Rodney Preston and his wife, Lisa; three grandsons, Seth Preston and his wife Stephanie, Nicholas Preston and his companion Jenny, and Eric Preston and his companion Ashley; five great grandsons, Ayden, Alex, Hazen, Johnathan, and Rylan; three sisters, Diane Beach and her husband Lewis, Linda Kimball and her husband George, and Cecelia Murphy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Beatrice was predeceased by her step father, William Chesley, a son, Reginald Preston, and a daughter Rhonda Preston, and siblings Pauline Bowers, Danforth Michaud, and Samual Michaud, Jr.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Northern Light Hospice, especially to her caregivers, Janet, Ruth, Lynn, Lisa, Margaret, Terry, and Stacy. The family also wishes to thank Trina for the loving care and consideration given to Beatrice.
Graveside services will be held in the springtime at Wytopitlock Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
