Gaile, Jane, and Jim, So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a beautiful lady whom I had known for most of my life. She was gracious and a big asset to our library when she worked there. In later years I enjoyed playing bridge with her. My parents and the Ames were old friends. She lived a long, interesting life. But, it is always too soon to lose one's mother! My thoughts are with you. Had I not been in Florida, I would have attended her service. Pat Russell

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Barbara. We were on vacation, out of state, when we heard the news. My sympathies to the entire Nicholson family. She was a wonderful woman, who will be missed.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. What seems to be a long life is never long enough where our loved ones are concerned. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah feels the same way. That is why He has promised to swallow up death forever and soon end all our suffering. (Rev. 21:3-5; Isa. 25:8) May His promises be a soothing balm for your grieving hearts.

Hi Gaile, my deepest sympathy at the loss of your mother. I really did not know her personally, but I've heard some very nice things about her from Kay Reed. She thought the world of your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Give my best to your sister and brother.
