Obituary for Arthur D. Pelletier

Arthur D Pelletier, 92, of East Millinocket, Maine, passed peacefully on February 19th 2023.
Arthur was born October 12th 1930 in East Millinocket to Anna Marie and Thomas Pelletier. He was the 6th oldest of 12 children. He attended Schenck High School until joining the Navy in
1947 where he proudly served on the USS Midway for 3 years during the Korean Conflict.
He lived and worked in East Millinocket for the Great Northern Paper Company where he met and
fell in love with Verna Ayotte of Millinocket Maine and had four children together, Stephen,
JeanAnne, Janice and Daniel and later on, a fifth child, Debbie Beaulieu who was born in
Rochester, New York and cared for him at Sweet Seniors nursing home for the past two years.
Arthur was a loving husband and father until he moved to accept his “dream job” at Eastman
Kodak Company, a fortune 500 company at the time, where he loved his day job as a machinist
and foreman for over 20 years. Arthur enjoyed people, storytelling, sharing jokes and making
people laugh. He loved the outdoors, his camp on North Twin Lake, golfing, and his family. He
was known to family and friends as Cheboy. And to his adult friends and coworkers as Apple Art
because every morning he went to work whistling and eating an apple. He loved high fiving
people until he lost half a thumb at work and then he would proudly four and a half you!
He is survived by his sister Beverly Cooper and Marilyn Willey, his oldest Stephen Pelletier, daughters JeanAnne Komulianen, Janice Thomas and Deborah Beaulieu and youngest son,
Daniel Pelletier. He will be forever missed by his children and grandchildren, Michael Pelletier, Kelsea Pelletier, Kari Anna Pelletier, Kym Grant, Kyle Komulianen, Matthew Thomas, Whitney
Pelletier, Daniel Pelletier, Trever Turmel, Kaleb Turmel, Gavin Gagnon; his great grandchildren,
Taylor Grant, Bronsyn Grant, Landon Komulianen, Logan Komulianen, Savannah Pelletier, Tristan Pelletier, Malia Pelletier, Kyla Pelletier; and great-great grandchildren, Levi Everrette,
Clayton Field and Beau Pelletier.
