Obituary for Arthur Benjamin "Artie" Lujan

Lincoln - Arthur “Artie” Benjamin Lujan Jr, 50, unexpectedly passed away on June 15, 2020. He was born May 5, 1970 in Salt Lake CIty, the son of Arthur Benjamin (Lujan) Armenta Sr and Janice Jones Bohne. Artie graduated from Mattanawcook Academy, Class of ‘89. Artie married the love of his life, Elizabeth Deltorto Lujan on February 19, 2000. Whom he celebrated 20 years of marriage with in February. Artie was loyal to his career at the Lincoln Color Center, as well as his own business Art’s Floor Installation. Artie’s loves in life were his family and friends, fishing, watching his sons be a part of the MA Lynx, his granddaughter, and the “Pittsburgh Steelers”. To know Artie was to love Artie. He will be forever remembered by his warm smile and big bear hugs. Artie was a member of the Community of Engle Temple, church of Lincoln. Artie is survived by his soulmate, Elizabeth Lujan, and their 5 children, Haylea Lujan, Theresa Clifford, Courtney Lujan, Devan Lujan, Brayden Lujan, and his granddaughter Emersyn Grace Landry, of Lincoln. Artie is also survived by his father Arthur Lujan-Armenta, his mother, Janice Bohne. His sister and brother-in-law Ginger and Troy Johnson, nephews Todd and “Little” Troy Johnson. His brother Andrew Lujan and niece Maddison. Brothers Jessie Huffman, Jimbo, and family. His sister Penny Chatwin and family. His mother-in-law Pamela Dixon. Artie leaves behind his special brother-in-law Joseph Deltorto and family. Michaela Banks and Olivia Wheaton and “Bonus Parents” Sheila & Sterling Jordan. Arthur B Lujan was predeceased by his step father, Alton Dewy Bohne, his sister Debbie, father-in-law Anthony J. Deltorto, “grandmother” Helen A. Deltorto, and niece Delanie Marie Lujan. A service of remembrance will be held at Community Evangel Temple, 124 River Road, Lincoln, on Wednesday June 24th from 4-7 PM, where funeral services will be held Thursday, June 25th at 10 AM with the Rev. Jason Johnstone, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
