Obituary for Agnes M. Lancaster
Kingman – Agnes M. Lancaster, 89, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at a Lincoln hospital. She was born January 20, 1930 in Kingman, the daughter of Ollie L. and Annie M. (Christopherson) Lancaster.
Agnes grew up in Kingman, and attended school there. She worked at Forster Manufacturing, Inc. in Mattawamkeag for 40 years until she retired. Agnes enjoyed working in her garden and canning the vegetables she grew. She did this for many years until she was no longer able to.
She is survived by two sisters, Caroline Lee and Geraldine Ogden; a brother, Ollie Lancaster, Jr.; a special nephew and care giver, Delmont Lee, Jr.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Agnes was predeceased by siblings Bertha Lancaster, Mary Gerard, Harold Weston, and Helen Nute.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 P.M. Saturday, October 19 at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Sunday, October 20 at the Kingman Cemetery.
